Ian had his first ever live Instagram chat tonight and it was with Awaken director Bob Degus!

Fans enjoyed listening as both men discussed and reminisced about shooting Awaken (formally known as 9/Tenths) nearly 15 years ago.

For Ian, it was his first film working in the states and it was thanks to Bob, who sponsored him allowing him to get his SAG card.

The film also starred Gabrielle Anwar and Dave Baez.

It’s exciting to know the film will see a re-release with new and previously unseen footage!

Listen below for Ian’s and Bob’s full chat and be sure to visit Awaken on it’s official website: Awaken-film.com

Fans of Henry Ian Cusick may remember an independent film Ian did back in 2006 titled 9/Tenths.

Directed by Bob Degus the film also stars Gabrielle Anwar and Dave Baez.

Considering it’s relevancy to our current times, the film makers have decided to return to the film and have plans to re-cut and re-release it under it’s new name Awaken!

Ian recently tweeted about this, hinting at the re-release:

“Blast from the past or predicting the future? @awaken_film stay tuned!”

Awaken has a brand new website which includes the film trailer, photo gallery, and on set interviews with Ian, Gabrielle and Dave, previously unseen by fans before.

Jacob tweeted to fans: “I interviewed @hicusick before lockdown – aka an age ago – and he was the most perfect LOST cast member a fan could speak to.”

Ian replied with a tweet of his own: “Thanks Jacob- it was a pleasure!”

As most HIC fans know, Ian co-starred in Fox’s The Passage in 2019.

The TV series based on Justin Cronin’s trilogy book series, unfortunately only saw one season.

To the cast, crew and fans’ disappointment, Fox chose not to renew it for a second season.

In July of 2018, the cast appeared at San Diego Comic Con preceding the show’s debut, to promote the show and meet fans who attended the convention.

Many photos from that event are in CusickGallery’s SDCC 2018 The Passage album in the gallery section of their site.

These are the newest photos to surface from that event and featured recently on CusickGallery……..beautiful individual photos of Ian photographed by Maarten de Boer along with two cast photos.

We are pleased to share them here too! Thank you Maarten!

Today, May 23, 2020 marks 10 years ABC’s LOST aired it’s final episode, titled simply The End.

Fans around the world are remembering this ground breaking TV series on social media with comments, video clips, photos and memories of the show which for many, remains their number one series of all time.

Henry Ian Cusick portrayed one of the most beloved characters on the show, the scotsman Desmond Hume. It was the role that brought Ian to the states and in many ways kick started his career in America. Still today, he remains best known for Desmond. It’s a role and character he is very proud of.

Ian expressed his thoughts in a tweet to all Lost fans:

“10 years ago #LOST ended – it changed my life completely and introduced me to a beautiful island I’m proud to call home. I will forever be grateful to #damonlindelof@CarltonCuse@jackbenderart and all the cast and crew for such an incredible ride. Aloha Ix “

If you were a LOST fan when the show aired or you’ve become one in the years following of it’s finale, there’s no better way to pay homage to it, than perhaps watching The End again….tonight…..just as so many fans did 10 years ago! Let’s go back shall we?

If you have the DVD set, replay it…..LOST is also available for viewing on HULU. Check your favorite streaming sources for more possible places.
