The Wind & The Reckoning Premieres at Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF)

The Wind & The Reckoning had its official opening on Thursday, Nov. 3rd on Oahu, with an outdoor screening at Bishop Museum, followed by a panel discussion with the cast and crew! Ian was able to take a break from his filming on ABC’s Big Sky to return home and attend the festivities and screening.

Daniela Stolfi-Tow, with 808 Viral, was onsite and provided fans with great video interviews. Thank you to Dani and her assistant, Kohl.

It was a wonderful night for cast and crew, along with their family and friends…and of course the fans.

The film made it’s theaterical release the following night in Hawaii at Consolidated Theatres Hawaii on Oahua and will play through Nov. 17.

We are so very excited that fans and followers of HIC will be able to watch his most recently released indy feature film, The Wind & The Reckoning! Filmed entirely in Hawaii during the pandemic, Ian stars as McCabe, the main antagonist of the film, which is based on a true story. This film has beautiful cinematography, and was written by John Fusco and directed by David L. Cunningham. We thank Heartland International Film Festival for making this available. Enjoy!

The true life story of the Leper War on Kaua’i is depicted in this chilling and moving film.

Synoposis:
